Reading Trumps All

Ahh reading. Reading is my favorite subject and i think it is the most important subject you can learn. Reading allows other subjects to be more understandable and intelligible. If we didn't have reading we would not have Math, Science, History, or any other subject alike. We need to be able to READ Math questions and examples to get a real life look on our everyday math work. We need to be able to READ Science descriptions and understand how the world works. And lastly, we need to be able to READ History articles to understand what happened in the past so we can work away from that. Ultimately reading helps us the most in our future. Just take a second to imagine where we would be without reading. We would not have directions, instructions, literature, etc. These are things that we use in our everyday life and it is something we could never live without. But one thing has always stumped me. Why is the letter C such a bully? I mean if you think about it the letter C is always ganging up on the letter K. Like the letter C is always trying to steal the letter K's job. K makes a "kuh" sound and C makes a "cuh" sound. Like why is C so rude. Why doesn't the letter C let K win? What? You think they can just share? No! C can already make a "suh" sound like in "pencil" or "cytoplasm." So really C bullies the letter K and the letter S. So, reader of this blog, spread the word about the letter C. It is a letter bully that needs to be stopped. We need to cancel It's rain of terror before it takes over more letter like A or J or G. We can not let this take over the English language.

Shoes Full of Personality Entry #1

So recently I have made this weird observation that I have never noticed before. You can really tell a lot about a person by their shoes. I know real cheesy Dylan, everyone already has heard this millions of time before. I don not care! Here are the different personalities for different types of shoes.

#1 Sports Shoes
Sports shoes are the type of shoes that people wear when they want to be stylish. Sports shoes are just all around classy. They are the "fashionistas" of all shoes. These are shoes that are more for show than actual sporting. The type of people are not vein or selfish, but more they care about what other people think about them. This type of shoe is just another way for people to show off. Which you can take that as a good thing or a bad thing, but people will still wear these shoes anyways.

#2 Basic Shoes (Vans, Sperrys, etc.)
I personally under the category of basic shoes. People who wear "basic shoes", Vans, Sperrys etc., are usually very calm and collected people. Based on other wearers of this type of shoe, most wearers wear for the purpose of getting stuff done easily. These people usually don't care about other people's opinions about their style.  Basic "shoebys" wear the shoes to finish the job with style.

#3 Running Shoes
People who wear running shoes are my personal favorite because they do not care what other people think at all. They do not care about what other people think at all. They are there to get the bare minimum and that is to get the job done. The kind of people that wear these shoes are people that are independent and "self knowing." I really enjoy these people because they are so nice and down to earth.

In conclusion, the next time you are out in public pay attention to people's shoes and personalities, and compare.

Spring Break

Ahh, Spring Break.
Spring break is the time to take a load off and relax after the countless weeks of schooling children have to go through. It is the perfect time to freshen your mind of what it's like to be free of homework and stress almost like... wait, free of homework? Do teachers still seriously give us students extra unneeded work sheets of nonsense they call curriculum. I mean why waste our time with loads of packets that they know almost none of us are going to do? At least some teachers with logic realize no one is going to finish their work, so they do not give it all together. Obviously it's also teachers break, so why are they setting us up with assignments that they will have to grade once they get back from break. Spring break is a time to take a break from school, hence the name, Spring Break. But, besides the ranting I just want to enjoy my precious break from school before all the work eats me up. This Spring Break, and I am going to be honest, I am not going to do one single thing (other than "break work"). The best form of paradise, laziness. I think that is the best thing to do because school takes all the life out of me and what better way to cure that than laying in bed all day. That is all I am going to do, so what about you all? What will you guys or girls be doing for Spring Break. Are you going to the beach? Maybe going to go camping? Or go to an epic amusement park with the tallest of roller coasters? I know a lot of my friends are going to be visiting the Rodeo that is in Houston right now. Well, if you want tell me in the comments below because I know I am not doing anything as interesting as I just listed before. It will be interesting to see what everyone else is doing for this valuable week of the school year. Well bye.
